Principal’s Welcome

Hello and welcome to Emmanuel Anglican College

Emmanuel Anglican College is a Preschool to Year 12 coeducational College founded in the Anglican tradition. It is located in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of New South Wales and widely renowned as a centre for academic and pastoral care excellence throughout our region and beyond. I am extremely proud to be part of the Emmanuel Anglican College community and incredibly blessed to lead this exceptional College.

A wonderful community feel, exceptional teachers, excellent pastoral care, strong Christian values, outstanding results in external testing and first class facilities are among the themes that parents continue to name as reasons for seeking enrolment for their children at Emmanuel Anglican College.

I believe that all students learn best in an environment in which they are known and cared for and as such I endeavour to know the name of every student in the College and that of their parents. I also encourage all our parents to be actively involved in the life of the College and to build strong and positive relationships with our staff, as experience tells us that whenever the school and families work closely together there are always great outcomes for students.

I readily remind our students that it is a great privilege to live in our region and attend a College that offers them so many wonderful opportunities to learn and grow in such a safe and caring environment. With great privilege comes great responsibility and I challenge all our students to:

• take advantage of every opportunity made available to them to learn both within and beyond the classroom
• participate in as broad a range of curricular and co-curricular opportunities as possible
• nurture and develop positive relationships with all members of the Emmanuel Anglican College community

Our hope is that all our students will graduate from the College as confident, articulate, principled, resilient, independent, lifelong learners who have the skills to thrive in our global society and a desire to make the world a better place for all humanity.
