Culture and the Arts
At Emmanuel Anglican College we understand that true education extends beyond the classroom. Our Culture and the Arts co-curricular programs are designed to complement and enrich the academic curriculum, providing students with a dynamic environment to apply their learning, develop new skills, and explore their passions. We believe that participation in the arts is essential for fostering creativity, critical thinking and collaboration skills that are invaluable in all areas of life.
Musicals
Our drama and musical productions are a powerful platform for students to apply their literacy, public speaking and communication skills in a real world context. These programs are a true collaboration of learning, bringing together students from across the school to create a shared artistic vision.
We look forward to releasing updates on our 2026 Musical.
Band Program
Emmanuel Anglican College offers a robust Music Program that encompasses both curricular and co-curricular activities. The College’s Concert Band Program caters to experienced musicians and beginners alike, fostering a love for music and performance.
Concert Band Program

This collaborative environment promotes effective learning and teamwork. Band members regularly perform at College events, community functions and eisteddfods.
Research indicates a strong link between music instruction and academic achievement, with music students excelling in mathematical and scientific comprehension. The benefits of playing an instrument are well documented, as illustrated in the YouTube video “How Playing an Instrument Benefits Your Brain.” (Please see the YouTube link below).
