About us

Volunteers

Emmanuel Anglican College is well supported by volunteer parents and carers who each make an enormous contribution to the daily operations of EAC. Our volunteers assist the College including;

  • Supporting Primary School reading and maths groups
  • Covering books for the Joan Pickup Library
  • Helping out in The College Canteen

All EAC volunteers are required to have a current Working with Children Check. Follow these steps to obtain a Working With Children Check and register as an EAC Volunteer;

  1. CLICK HERE to complete an online application.
  2. Once you have submitted your online application, you will receive an application number. You will then need to visit a Service NSW office (formerly RTA) to submit your application number and proof of your identity. You must have both of these items for your application to proceed.
  3. You will receive your outcome and Working With Children Check number by email (or post if you do not have an email address).
  4. The College is required to verify your Working With Children Check. To do this, you will need to provide the College with your Working With Children Number or Application Number together with your date of birth.
  5. Once verified, you will then be eligible to volunteer at Emmanuel Anglican College.
